3.25tc to stiff for 10ft rod ?

Hi 

does anyone think a 3.25tc is too stiff on a 10ft rod for casting ? will the shorter length of the rod amplify the TC ?

Tricky to say. The TC doesn't necessarily mean how stiff it is, the action is more important.

I think the more wraps of carbon the rod is made with the stiffer it will be, a single wrap rod would be better but also more expensive, it was the main feature i looked for in my price range, my 10 3lb rods are perfect for me, distance or close in, the difference in trying to fish the same with cheap rods is really noticeable.

I've 10ft Scope's in 3 1/4, to have the option of chucking PVA bags. They're not too stiff, and have a much softer action than that of a 12 footer
