Will be the 1st time ever used them, always been on lead clips. 

This 1 is my combi loop rig setup. 

I've used very similar hook links like that to my run rigs. But I haven't used tubing on the mainline. Just naked line to a  run rig rubber bead with swivel inside.

Just giving it ago 1st with tubing see how it goes, also it's safety for the fish just incase it rolls.

I used to fish running leads a fair bit ... personally I wouldn't use a  lead smaller than 3 ounce , as you want  it to stay put ,  also the least friction as possible so ditch the tubing no need for it mate .

I've purchased some 2.5oz leads as it will be no further than a 40yrd cast, may try 1 with and 1 without based on people's comments and feedback 👍
