Rixxy2008
Thanks for the replays guys it is appreciated because as France goes it's quite daunting booking the right one winsome waters looks about right but it's like 6 to 7 hours in the car after the ferry ride and my dads 63 so I wouldn't like to put that on him as it's quite a distance to be fair I think we're gonna concentrate on the fishing side for the first trip and yes water size is an issue because these big lakes scare me haha

Rixxy2008
I've had a look at genesis n doesn't seem half bad I think the option I'd like to take is maybe drive to Pompey or southampton or Dover then get a bus over so we can relax on the journey over into France so that leaves bounty and dreamlakes that I know of also I think Jurassica is one but then don't you to do peg draws on the water with other members of the bus wen I'd like to maybe get next to the old man on a double peg I never realised how hard this decision could be if I'm honest there's so much planning involved haha dayvid
smufter
My dads 63 so I wouldn't like to put that on him as it's quite a distance I'm only two years behind him but manage the 5.5 hour drive down no problem. With a nice lake and the thought of catching some right old lumps waiting for him, I bet you'd be surprised what he could cope with..... The drive back home seems a lot longer though (but doesn't it always).. Edited November 15, 2016 by smufter
