Although these are way before my first Carp adventures i believe some of you may remember them. Now I see, I didn't look close enough before and thought it had a wheel. Vast improvement over a stack of coins perched on the spool over a coffee can. I can remember buying Herons in the 1980's before upgrading to Optonics. Regularly bending the arm back to shape or to try to avoid false bites in wind.
