Carpbell_ll Posted December 31, 2015 Report Posted December 31, 2015 Looked at it myself last year for a little break with some fishing, they don't let dogs on-site though, shame really, looks real nice.http://www.cherrylakes.co.uk/ Quote
jimmboy Posted January 7, 2016 Author Report Posted January 7, 2016 It does log nice the only thing put me off I heard there been a couple times were ppls things have been going missing in the night whever it's true or not Quote
chillfactor Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 I've had a look around cherry lakes Jimmboy as it's something I'm hoping to set up myself. All the cabins are clean & tidy but no real rural character all furnished exactly the same from the John Lewis catalogue . The cabins with there own private lakes I personally would avoid would feel like fishing a pond . The main lake with the cabins would be my choice could definitely enjoy a break in one of them . Good bit of water for each cabin and stalking swims around the far bank & sides ,with this in mind I would choose the left hand cabin. Security seemed very good so they may well be just rumours. Some nice fish in there too . Quote
jimmboy Posted January 7, 2016 Author Report Posted January 7, 2016 Thanks for the feedback do you no what lake has the largest fish is it the cherry lake ? Thanks Quote
chillfactor Posted January 8, 2016 Report Posted January 8, 2016 I believe the bigger fish are in the main lake , although even if they weren't it would still be a better choice unless you like fishing little ponds Quote
