Can someone tell me if you crimp the barb down on a hook is it classed as barbless on waters that only allow barbless hooks ? marty_h Posted April 26, 2012 Report Share Posted April 26, 2012 The last 2 waters I have fished have been compulsory barbed hooks only. In my opinion they give a better hook hold and less likely to damage the fish ( as long as they are unhooked correctly ) you should also be able to buy barbless rigs I would be looking at making your own rigs you will find they are better then of the shelf rigs as you can then adjust them yourself Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
