  1. Are you talking about the lake in Dartford ? If so not sure asking around on internet forums is the best place to start . I'd have a walk round and chat to a few fellow members .I know a few of the guys that fish on there they have a few socials in the pub . Net size I would imagine min 42"
  2. Ideal for dog walking , but don't forget while walking your generating heat unlike sitting while fishing hence two different objectives . A decent wax jacket will be 100% waterproof , not breathable though .
  3. Can't find ' Elm Tree Country Wear' but if they are a standard wax jacket then they are not a thermal winter coat , waterproof and windproof yes . The ex military ones normally offer the best performance , but don't forget your layers .
  4. when you say cabins or huts do you mean to fish from rather than using a bivvy ?
  5. The RRP's are only there so that they can legally sell at the discount price , easy to inflate (make up) an RRP when you own the brand and have enough shops to stick the item in a dark corner at the higher price for the legal period before discounting, its all legal and above board .Really surprised the general public still fall for it .
  6. I'm not to sure your correct on this either . ( I stand corrected , you learn something new everyday) Anyway some good deals there if you sift through them .
  7. I'm sure if your careful you could cross the M25 on a busy day BUT why risk it . Go for extra layers or hot water bottle etc .
  8. Really ??? Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think your correct on this
  9. I've not fished many day tickets , the only one I have on several occasions is Blasford hill (many years ago) nice little lake and should be fishing well in this weather . Maybe worth ringing to make sure its not booked out for any matches though .
