  6. Indeed ian specimens of all sorts, walked the canal near the lapworth locks yesterday saw a few carp and one was very big!
  7. well i dont think its too bad, there are far more carp stratford way from what i hear, looked at the lapworth locks where the avon and grand union part looks intresting many options there its just finding them i guess! always fun drop shotting for perch anyway you know there always there lol

Thanks for all the replies lads theres been some could imput and comments by everyone thanks, i have chosen a spot directly under a tree on the far bank in the picture showing straight ahead, ive been feeding little bits of meat and corn done this 4 times in the past 3 weeks, will get the rake out tonight and rake the far bank where ive chosen, may get a couple of bags of gravel from work aswell to throw in, will be fishing next week atleast 3 nights in the evening will let you know how it goes! thanks again lads Jack.
  14. Thanks lads will continue feeding the spots with small amounts of corn and hemp, will giveit it a week or 2 before i fish it as im concentrating on a private pool at the moment ill let you know how i get on Jack

  16. Yep thats it free fishing and easy for me to pop in and out just need to sort a gate on the back and chop abit of the overgrowth would you try natural baits before boilies? maybe corn meat or even pellets?

  18. Its accessible to the public its not far from a road bridge/access you get the odd dog walker but thats about it havnt seen any one fishing here in ages.
  19. Im going to mate cant find any info at all though atleast not recent anyway there was some big lumps years ago but i literally never see anyone fishing ! even for the silvers and theres some good roach. Ill be prebaiting and spending a few nights down there wish me luck Jack.

I have the stratford avon canal behind my house in birmingham, gonna prebait and try get a carp out of here heard theres some big girls but never ever fished! if not theres a fair few pike to go for aswel!   24. Ive been looking to do some piking myself, i read its still allright to fish for them just try and get them in and back in the water as fast as possible as they dont last well out the water, also when dead baiting use barbless hooks they swallow!
