yeah agreed carp machine worth a blast though ill be down there myself in the summer barbeling a carp would just be a right achievment though!

also heres a post i found on another forum... River The river severn holds some cracking Carp now...many of which have come out of different pools during flooding... Stretches...Pitchcroft race course just next to worcester city town...good carp and barble have been caught... The salwarpe mouth which hits the river severn just up from claines on the dual carriage way...salwarpe runs underneath carriageway and across 2 fields then hits the severn...ive seen 2 Carp landed for 60lb on the mouth and ive taken Carp to 15lb and barble to 10lb from there... Dnt forget the canal... Better section is droitwich..handbury..section behind the tip...lots of carp there.g.upto 28lb...

yep well said carp machine, i hear theres a few around worcester though! a few around the holt fleet area came from the lakes there

yeah some chap told me theres some big carp where the salwarpe goes into the severn, big barbel too!!

yeah i think the grand union has a fair few more carp than the avon canal

thanks cyborx, was just thinking local like yardley wood to earls wood as its very local for me, gonna do some walking and baiting from the back of my house if anyones local and wants to come down inbox me!

yeah well i forgot to mention my house backs onto the canal by yardley wood bus station so i only have to lift a fence panal and walk down abit of a steep bank and hopefully theres some carp in there ive never thought about it! guess i better start baiting a few swims! thanks jack.

Hi guys thanks for the welcoming! sorry for not introducing myself my names jack im 21 and from birmingham but im between birmingham and newtown-wales at the moment! i love my carp fishing and have done for years just recently started getting thrills for the barbel so i cant wait for the rivers season to open back up in june! Hi im down newtown alot on the weekend and as the severn is closed for the time been im looking to fish this pool ive been down a few times and i like the look of it plus never seen an angler there, cant find any info apart from it has alot of natural baits and is quite a hard fishery, if anyone else has any info tips that would be great! shame u can only fish 1 rod here aswell was hoping to set up a few rigs on the bait runners and fish the pole in the margins! oh well! tight lines!.
