  1. I've got the older version of the TXI pluses and they've been fine for me (got them second hand too) in all conditions. Only sent one back because the Y bar was slightly damaged after fishing locked up to snags and a violent take, receiver went back because I damaged the battery connector when putting a new one in. Seem to be much better quality than the newer version
  2. I used to use it all the time on simple knotless knot rigs. Don't have a need now I use multi rigs for 90% of my fishing. Have found it useful if I run out of anti-tangle sleeves or want to extend a loop to stop it tangling. I use it over any leader knots or when joining stiff materials and braid for the stiff multi rig just for added protection on the knot and for something for the putty to grip
  3. Same place as the neutrally balanced rig ring screw

  9. Yes daletronrics. Looks like he is the guy to use.
  10. Think mine were replaced and with p&p around £15. I much prefer my mk1s to the newer ones. Think I'll get them fully refreshed by a company I saw on Facebook when they give up the ghost. In regards to line I've not had a problem when using the usual 15lb line in mono or fluoro and 18lb for the river.
