  1. I'm actually looking into braid for my fishing reels too
  2. Braid as zero stretch for me
  3. Seen those, you'll be buying more in a few months. Feel cheap
  4. Snugpak for me anyway
  5. Not sure on the price, I've had some reels over the past few years, rovex included, wychwood riot, tf gear v8 to name a few. Rather pay the money and have peace of mind they won't let me down. Cheaper isn't always better and that sounds cheap, less than £20 a reel. Dubious
  6. Interesting, I really want to avoid dragging coins and pots fishing!
  7. Hiya, had flu over the break so not great. How can I make one???
  8. Any of you guys know the best candle lamp heater? Seen the Nash one but not paying silly money!
  9. They're big but just right. Not big pits as such but not tiny either
  10. Daiwa emblem blacks, they are so nice and not silly money
  11. Daiwa reels all the way for me

    New Rigs

My point exactly, as stated, as long as you have a sharp hook on all these Ronnie rigs, multi, stiff hinge stuff goes out the window. Its a fashion really. If u look at ronnie vs multi, same hook bait presentation just in a different way.

    New Rigs

Personally chaps this rig talk is completely useless. I'm fairly retentive when it comes to rigs, gotta look right, sit right etc. Then a big blow, my mate who just chucks any old rig on goes and catches a 30lb common last week on a blow back rig used with a pop up!!!! Single shot, very agricultural too, pre made rig as well. So work that out lads
  19. Its like wearing a duvet really, only thing I can describe it. My bargain eBay purchase
  20. I wear it dog walking in morn with a t shirt on underneath, I love it yonny old chap!!
  21. I wear thermals bottom half then combats, then goretex over trousers cos no matter how hard you try mud always creeps up the inside of ya legs! Thermal wellie socks over my thermals, all tucked into some field boots or thermal wellies. Top is a norgie, then an army jumper, then a hoody, this year as its new my snugpak softie then a goretex jacket. Obviously a wooly number on my fat head!
  22. Right, bought some 20lb braid mainline, states sinking. Thought I'd check in glass just to see, so snipped a foot off and it doesn't sink! Joy of amazon ay!. Anyway, my question is does anyone know any tricks to sink it? Not back leads! Maybe a solution I can make to soak it in??
  23. Nice yonny old chap. May have to look at one of these
  24. TFG power brolly. On its 3rd year now
