im fairly new to carp fishing as all i had ever done was fishing with a float and i swore then no way would i ever get into carp fishing per se but i have and i love it i love reading up about alternative rigs and i love trying them out, at the moment i dont catch very many but hopefully with experience my catch rate will go up. the question can we improve bottom rigs set me thinking and i hope someone can answer it it may very well have been asked before so here goes. what were the rigs like years ago and were they successful and do you think the rigs you are using now are better

no probs mate i will deffinatly find out one way or another i'll go and knock the door lol or just pitch up with all my gear on my barrow. on a serious note it looks quite decent if you look on google maps you can see the pools its hilton hall in hilton lane check it out

hi beza. its the pools in hilton hall grounds itself i cant seem to find anything out i know it used to be a big estate house ie with a lord of the manor someone called vernon but thats all i know

millride is another one it used to be ok,ish no features and pretty bleak i heard they had a lot of fish stolen by our over sea cousins

all i can find is that there is a bit of a moat pool then a further two pools that look very carpy, i will make some phonecalls tomorrow and see what i can find out

i still cant seem to find anything out about this venue

Hi Guys, Just wondering if anyone can help with regards to the above venue, I have recently discovered that this old house has a couple of pools that look very carpy indeed. It is not to far from where i live and i would be able to push my barrow there thus giving me another pool to fish. The problem i am having is finding anything out about the place as the building itself is just a bunch of various office spaces and no one seems to know anything about the pools. What im hoping to find out is A, who has the rights (if anyone)B Prices (day ticket) have any of you guys any ide about this place
