I fished it once pal, spoke to a lad who was fishing it, he said some of the fish escaped into a run off chanel nice looking water but the thing that put me off was the owner really didnt know that much about the place, apparently he let the late bailiff run it, who now as passed away, i spoke to a guy at the tackle shop just off a46 he strongly suggested not to fish the place as the fish levels were low, but he could have restocked it by now, think the guy who owns it was called anthony? let me and a lad fish it for £10 a night, there is a little cabin with some dated photos up but for me a little bit vague on stocking levels from the owner, hope this has'nt put you off pal. sime

Try wellam mate just off the a6 near kibworth before mkt harborough nice lake and reasonably easy to catch, as carp in there to over 20lb and very scenic and quiet, hope this helps. sime

Going in may so the weather should be warming up i hope bbq every nite and lots of cider to wash it down, and hopefully a fish or two on the bank

Aint been for a year pal but it;s apparently no worse than normal, although the price on elsons as gone up to £21 for a session
