  6. are delkims really worth the money, perhaps someone can educate me, what makes them so special? , i use a set of bite alarms made by stillwater and if i get a run the alarm sounds, just the same as other bite alarms but at a fraction of the price, just don't get why people would pay so much money for them cheers mufty
  7. if thats the case im going tomorrow
  8. try and lenghten the rig by a couple of inches mate
  9. If thats the case with the birds then I really must get one and try it cause they are driving me nuts. i swear mate , not a single bird has taken my bait with this float mufty
  10. i used this float for all my surface fishing last year, it definately didnt spook the fish, and an added bonus is the birds leave your bait alone as they can see the line going down to it, allways carry a couple with me everywhere i go now, also i use 15lb sensor as the hooklink, works fine. mufty

  16. have a look at manor fisheries in headcorn, a truly lovely setting, some good carp and catfish, also some very big roach and perch, you might have to do a day before you can nightfish though, mufty
  17. have a look at elphicks mate, got some cracking fish and is quite reasonable for a week
  18. ive never had a problem with it myself, probably because most the fish i catch are not very big but ive i heard other people say that with a standard knotless knot coming through the back of the eye the flouro is weakend because of the angle it comes off the eye causing more presure on that part of the flouro hope that makes sense
