  1. Hi guys, If you have a problem or need any advice or repairs to your bait boats or associated equipment then run it by me I may be able to help, Cheers Pete.
  2. I had a similar experience, caused by water ingress into the receiver board, If you have had the boat a while you may need to open her up and check, they do suffer from condensation I had to replace my Tx/ Rx and upgraded to 2.4 ghz at a cost of about £65 the main problem with the Viper is you have to break the seal to get at it all, very time consuming.
  3. Great help guys, I'm edging toward the Triporter looks to be the the one that fits the bill for me.
  4. Thanks Ian, thats why I like my local runs water, I can park behind my swim I really noticed the difference when I went to Sandhurst not a long walk to the swim but I tried to do it in one Barrow load, not a good idea had to stop every 10 yards took three runs to get it all back to the car, easier but still not ideal. My barrow just isn't that well balanced so it has to go.
  5. Hi guys I know this has been done before, getting lazy in my old age cant be bothered to go back and look so thought I would start a new post, looking for a barrow or trolley that will take a reasonable load for two / three days fishing, something easy to push and that is well balanced doesn't topple over, been looking at a couple three wheeled units but would value your input, thanks in advance Pete.
  6. Hi guys, Kev, the repair is pennies mate the cost is in the dismantling and re sealing of the boat If you run a stanley knife around the seal you can open the boat and you will see the light in question, you will find they do put a lot of sealer around the light to stop water getting in to it, once you have removed it its just a case of cut the wires and solder a new lamp in. then you have to re seal the boat again. Its not difficult just a bit time consuming removing the old sealer and making sure the new sealer is water tight.
  7. Try Baitworks, good bait excellent service, get on the Monster Red and the scent from hell pop ups.
  8. Personaly I would use mine and theres, see which one produces, fish can have a choice.
  9. These are great rods, for the money I think its a bargain, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251429612447?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1431.l2649 He only wanted £300 buy it now price.
  10. Hi, I live in Salvington and don't know about that one, there is one on the Rustington golf course.
  11. http://www.solar24-7.co.uk/baitshop/bite-indication/product/lb1-line-biter-indicator
  12. Just watched the Solar video for these line bitters, you suspend them about 12 foot from the rod tip in mid air and they bounce up and down if you get a bite or line bite, please tell me they cant be serious, I always fish with slack lines that makes these useless and they cost £5.99 each
  13. Not sure what your trying to achieve? you would have to watch it all the time what about when your asleep? My delks give me all the indication I need.
  14. Just another bit of junk designed to help you spend your hard earned money.
  15. You can glue an end piece to the waste pipe, if you cut it to the right length the lid of the bucket will seal the top.
  16. cut a piece of waste pipe to length and put in the bucket, one flavor on the outside the other in the middle.
  17. I can understand your frustration but this can happen with anything you buy, I would be interested to hear from anyone else with problems with this boat. Yours could have been an isolated incident and it sounds as though the shop were not very helpful, Although you did get a full refund other shops may be better. Very reasoned reply Simmons . I have one of these and have reviewed it on another thread , it's a shame Millars has had these problems but i do not see it makes every Reaper a bad one . Exactly
