  1. A simple knotless knot hair rig using 10lb mono. I use other rigs but I seem to find if I keep things simple they work. less to go wrong with it. Maybe a bit of shrink tube or rig tube but that about it.
  2. yes mate i saw one not too long ago in purple
  3. I tried this a few years ago and could not get the float to sink. I tried different liquids of different desitys. I used one for a short period attached to my led full of boilie dip with one of the holes open. I had some good results for a few sessions then the bites seemed to dry up. Will perhaps give it a go again soon.
  4. hope that helped mate. if you are going to target cats more often it may be worth getting some catlink cevlar 50lb. it works a treat and is made for the job. it all depends on the size of cats you are after.
  5. hi mate if you steam it over a kettle and hold it straight it will remain staright. You can use friction to heat it up slightly and this will achieve the same result but it is a bit harder. Hope this helps mate.
  6. If i am honest i use mainly coated hook lenghts but this is what i am confident in using. This may be one dimentional but i think it all comes down to what you have confidence in and it is better to become a master of one than a novice of many. I do sometimes try something a bit different but it all depends of what i am trying to achive.
  7. I use the quick liks all of the time. Not sure why just got into the habbit of it. I suppose its because it 'quick'.
  8. what size are the fish in the lake?
  9. same as previous post i have been using the fig of 8 knot for a few years now in both my carp and catfishing with no problems
  10. Thanks all seems to work fine. should have thought of that one myself
  11. Hi all, I have been thinking of trying out some fluro hooklinks but not sure how to prepare them. I was told that they need to be kept on a special rig board after they have been straightend?. I am not sure of the best way to straighten them. I have used steam from a kettle and this seems to work. Am i doing the right thing ???? Thanks for any assiatance. Chris
  12. dont normaly bother. Find it much easier to use a fig of 8 connected to a quick link.
  13. it all depends on the presentation you are after. The korda range cover most of my needs.
