If you think the Monument is pricey, check out the prices on one of Rob Hale's other lakes at Acton Burnell. £2,000 for a week's fishing? I'd rather cut off a nut thankyou!
from one who knows about such things mate...you wouldnt

A loop allows greater freedom of movement in the hooklength
-
forget all the hassle.......attach a rig ring to the shank, double loop a pellet band to it and pull through as normal
large pellet band will give you as much play as you want as long as you use a stiff link to a loop before the hook.......failing that see above
-
oh.... you need a baitboat too .....and i hated the damn things beforehand but will be fishing at upto 300+yds so needed good bunch of lads....or used to be....big bait water so expect an expensive campaign
-
choked with weed in summer to the extreme, few big fish, rammed with naturals, birdlife is mayhem, ............persevere
-
400 the year....nothin special at all
-
hello to you too
-
worth the effort mate, pretty much untapped, trust me
local council office in your holidayregion will be able to provide details of application dates etc etc........you will need a phrase book
Good luck....happy fishing
-
special licenses are needed and are available for one weekper year....you need to name the water...the date of your intended journey...the duration of your stay.........and last but not least each district has its own set time of the year for applying for these permits, so you may have already missed out
-
well dagnammit wash em man!!!!!!
-
and lastly....what are the stocks like
-
pole elastic threader
-
guy....my previous post came into play at the wrong point bud......youre point is valid....the point of a 360 being selective however is a pearler!!!
-
YES OF COURSE.....THE MAGS SAID SO!!!!
-
goin to upset the apple cart now.....use the 360 and never had a problem even with smaller fish....mechanics are sound, just needs to be scaled to the size of fish with regards to end tackle
-
no such thing as a big fish rig....have had several thirties on single caster when i could just of easliy nailed roach and rudd with it........selection is only available through stalking and presenting the bait or withdrawing it
-
pretty much anywhere on the old riverbed will produce

okey dokey pal, Im thoroughly convinced it wasnt teenage hormones kicking in and trying to rule the roost
-
easily solved, throw some pics up of your momentus captures
will get my pillow and quilt while i wait
-
no, this started with a remark against your location
-
Adamak, who gives a fig for how you fish?????? majority of blokes on here fish alone, and they dont feel the need to be in fairbrass' "academy" you do yourself no favours with your attitude pal, and even more so when you use chav language on here.....trust me, it isnt tolerated.
confidence is one thing, cocky is entirely different....lots of anglers on here that will put a lot of names to shame, fairbrass included.........................................so less of the "jonny concrete" eh
theres a good little fellow
-
can imagine it was similar to what my neighbours heard a short while ago mate
-
adamk.....just noticed your "location"........not conducive to getting any further with your fishing
in your long carping career (both years ) did it occur to you to try humble as an approach???? twonk
He may be right, Del. I imagine this kid with a Burberry cap & Rockports, & we know thay have the right attitude on the bank
Never thought of it like that Guy, well its another name for the "muppets" thread anyhow. I would try to engage him in a deep conversation about etiquette etc but Im not sure I can bring myself to talk in his native tongue
