There is a fisheries here on the Island called Combley carp fisheries. They have various fish over 40lb the biggest is i believe 53lb. I have not tried it as it is very expensive. The lake is available for four or three nights. It is also possible to book the lake for seven nights should dates be available. We have a variety of fisheries on the Island from day ticket and membership only. We are a type of place where being an Island it is a great place to spend a family holiday to include Freshwater and shore fishing.

Hi all. I started fishing 4 years ago with my work mates and realised i should have taken this up many years ago. I love making my own bait but still learning. I live on the Isle of Wight where i caught my PB Mirror weighing 23lb hoping for bigger.
