I've fished these for yrs and have great faith in them start with a safezone leader from korda cut the ring off the end so you just have the swivel 2 1/2oz drop off lead push the swivel into the end off the lead run the leader over the outside of the lead I use a bit of rubber sleeve over the back part of the inline lead I find it holds it perfect but on a take it drops the lead as soon as mr carp trays any funny business. Tie up a 3inch hooking with 20lb braid size 4 wide gaps fang or crank an jobs a good un hope this helps use a ground bait in the bag you can flavour it loads of attraction only food is your boilie or what your using

I've fished both barbless and micro and what I use depends on what I have in front of me if its heavy weed micro all day as I dont want the hook slipping and moving in the carps mouth causing damage if it's clear I use a barbless spearpoint which I find does the job hope this helps

I fish different size rigs from 3inch to 12 depending on what bottom I'm fishing on silt long combi rigs gravel or sand very short, it also depends on the fish as each lake is different the lake im on at the moment the carp wait and watch the trench and bream if they get caught the carp do the off so I dont bait a patch I'll just put 1 30mm boilie down as it attracts the bream and trench but to big for them mr carp comes sucks it up short rig sharp hook jobs a good un
