does any one know of any good braids that have a dark brown colour as the darkest i have found is the sufix and this isnt dark enough. all the ones i can find seem to be based more on clay

no iv tried a few black hook lengths and it shows up more than the light brown ones lol its basically mud on the bottom but lighter

iv also tried using fluorocarbon but its been a pain the the a**e for tying rigs with. thats another thing actually is the IQ soft hooklink from korda the same suppleness as mono?

try colouring in your braid with marker pens, this will really break up the line of the braid try two or three different colours to your braid it really does work

middy make one thats a dark brown its called dacron and u get 20 metres for 2.50 its realy realy good if you can find it becuase hardly any body sels it. plus it takes on the silt so it blends in well .

If ordinary brown Stealth Skin or Black Silt are no good,try looking at the TFG disguise range.There is a white braid,a coated braid and a sinklink that can be made to match any lake bed using the multitude of pens available.

korda braid (forgot the name) takes on the colour of the lake bed sposedly you might want to try that and kryston silk worm is quite light brown

Kryston Silk worm, or Super silk can be coloured to the Lake bed, but it does take on the colour anyway.

Get yourself some braid crayons mate they come in every colour under the sun
