west yorkshire fishing venues

hi all fishing in the leicestershire area for a while but the in laws live in huddersfield and we go up 2 times a month have been looking on net for an overnight venue with 20lb plus carp has any one got any ideas for me thanks in advance MIKE777

hi mate, about only venue i can think of is cellers clough in marsden as its a day ticket venue and does have some fish over 20lb (not many)

 

there is a web site and you have to phone to book on, hope this helps

thanks for advice have been looking at horbury lagoon which is with wakefield angling society which is only 35 a year but no nights which gives you loads of lakes etc any advice on these lakes thanks in advance mike777

The two lakes on the wakefield book are tough, they have some big fish but not many.

 

If you want an easy water check out Swillington Park Fishries.

I would ring before hand as they did close some of the lakes due to weed at one point.

 

If you manage to find any decent non syndicate ones around leeds please let me know as i have been searching for months.
