adamspiers
It is with deep personal regret that we have to inform all our clients, many of whom have become friends; that we are in the process of selling Eden’s Lakes. The purchasers, who some of you have already met this year, are Matt Wilkinson and his wife Melissa, who joined us here at Eden’s Lakes at the beginning of this season. Matt and Melissa have been involved in Eden’s Lakes since 2008, finally investing in stock and other improvements on their arrival here in April this year. Eden’s Lakes is fast becoming a leading Fishery here in France, but, as you know with the recession in full swing, it has been a very difficult financial year, full of anxiousness for all who have been affected by it. The recession has touched many, many lives all over the world, some of whom have lost their jobs, their homes and more, and our family has been no exception. We are fortunate, however, that we have been able to find a financial alternative for our family, although it has been a very, very painful decision to have to make. Lisa, I and our four girls are remaining in France, moving only 10 minutes from Eden’s so are on hand for any advice and help Matt and Melissa may need. We can assure all our clients that, here at Eden’s Lakes, business will carry on as usual…all bookings will be honoured and, with Matt and Melissa having had the opportunity to work alongside us in the past year or so, we have been able to pass on the high standards that we have run Eden’s Lakes with for the past five years. Not everything is doom and gloom for us though. We have had an amazing opportunity offered to us and will be heading out on a new venture, still within the Carp Fishing arena. We have recently accepted an offer to be the new frontline for Carp-Tech High Standard Fishing Equipment. We will be supplying Carp-Tech Equipment to distributors and individuals, controlling all distribution of Carp-Tech Equipment the world over. This new venture will also enable us to continue to be an active part in the Carp Fishing World, being able to continue to meet like-minded people who have a shared passion for the sport. We have been extremely fortunate in having had the privilege to live here in a beautiful, idyllic part of France, especially being able to create Eden’s Lakes from scratch, an achievement of which we are very proud. We would like to take this opportunity to send a huge thank-you to all our clients…many of whom have become close friends and hope that you will keep in touch. We will be letting you know our new contact details when we have them, as, at the moment, we are still here, running Eden’s Lakes, until everything is finalised. Many of our clients have said in the past…”You’re really living the dream with this place.” So much so that it has been very difficult to envisage giving up our dream, but we have to, and we now pass the dream to Matt and Melissa and wish them all the very best with Eden’s and hope that they, and their lovely family, have many happy years living in this very special place. We hope that you will give a warm welcome to Matt and Melissa and we sincerely hope that you continue to fish at Eden’s Lakes cos, although we are leaving, the magnificent fish aren’t!! Take Care and Tight Lines Adam, Lisa and family.
