To stop the hair loop pulling in simply tie another granny knot after making the original knot. As for braid I use esp sinklink for 95% of my rigs, its nothing special but does excaly what I want it to, to me thats all that matters, don't be taken in by everything you read in the mags:) Quote

The rig length can be as long as you want it, depending on your situation. Bear in mind though that Shorter Rigs CAN/MAY lead to increased Hookpulls. (See Complicated Rigs Thread). 3) The hair loop I just tie an Overhand knot at the end of the Hair before I tie the Hook on if I'm using Bottom Baits. 4) I use Kryston Merlin for much of my fishing, although after some comments on here I will be trying to get on with SuperNova. Other Braids I use are SuperSilk, Silkworm and Deception. Quote
courtz Posted June 2, 2006 Report Posted June 2, 2006 i use 3" hooklengths of kryston snakebit gold, with a 5mm gap between the hook and boilie. i fish these on a pva stick of boilie crumb, with a matching boilie on the hook. courtz Quote
