samytee
no but ive tryed coiling it in a mug ..... it just seems to wrap its self around itself....... could it be because im using light mono line? are you supposed to use a stiffer hooklink for zigs
nash_gadgeteer
The best way is the bucket, but a good tip is to use a small piece of PVA nugget on the hook, the reason for this is two fold, it won't catch the line and tangle & it will slow the bait down in the air and therefore the weight will land first bait second.... Another tip is to make a adjustable zig rig for depths over 10ft... Have a look at the Fox International website and download their rig book, which shows how to set one up, it makes it alot easier to move your bait up and down instead of retying the hooklength... marker
i just let it drop naturally on the floor with no coils, it works ok if you sort of lob it out with quite a high cast
