carperboyno1
5 of us have booked to go to france at the end of june from saturday - tuesday. we are allowed upto 4 rods each so will have about 20 rods between us. Will be fishing for 3 days so how muchbait do you think we will need between us? I have always liked the nash bait so was going to suggest we get the following; scopex squid - 10 KG half 15mm/half 20mm New Mach 1 - 10KG half 15mm/half 20mm 5KG of something different maybe a nash classic boilie 20kg sack of halubait partical ect What do you think on the above for the 5 of us? is this over kill or under kill. Would be great to hear your thoughts ASAP so i can get the bait ordered. Many Thanks in advance.

nafy118
but you say that the lake im off to in a week is 19 acres but according to the lake owner the fish respond better to small boilie only baiting, and recons that just over 5kilo of boilie will last us a week, im not doubting him because the lake has produced 6 different 50's this year already all to the same bait i was planning on taking in the first place, i am still taking a 20kilo sack of pellet tho ill prebait a different swim further down the lake and keep my eyes on it
bluebirdjones
scopex squid - 10 KG half 15mm/half 20mm New Mach 1 - 10KG half 15mm/half 20mm 5KG of something different maybe a nash classic boilie 20kg sack of halubait partical ect What do you think on the above for the 5 of us? is this over kill or under kill. I'd say thats underkill if there's 5 of you with 4 rods each. I often use 5kg of boillies over 3 days for 3 rods in UK. It all depends how its fishing though. johnplumb
I would think at least a kilo per rod per day and if it fishes well you could well need a lot more ,as Bluebird says depends how it fishes
