binfield Posted March 13, 2009 Report Share Posted March 13, 2009 Hi mate. what lake will you be fishing. day ticket or season ticket. there is a few lakes run by cemex in yateley.also you must consider what tackle to use as a few lakes hold very big cat fish over the 60lb mark. cal35 Posted March 13, 2009 Report Share Posted March 13, 2009 https://forum.carp.com/carp-forum/viewtopic.php?t=26148&highlight=sandhurst; have a look at that ! my main bit of advice would be watch the weather! if there is a strong wind then follow it, if it is really cold make sure you have small baits and go for a scratching tactic. also i have found that it is best to only spod a little bit and if it is not fishing well, putting some spod out will also start the lake again sometimes! hoep this helps! nash_gadgeteer Posted March 13, 2009 Report Share Posted March 13, 2009 Not always, some fish move with the wind and some sit on the back of it, depending if it is a new wind/old wind and direction and temperature, but this is going off topic have a look in the search facilty about wind. marker Posted March 14, 2009 Report Share Posted March 14, 2009 cracking lake sandhurst, its not hard fishing either, as has been said, just watch the water and wait for them to show then fish the area. your biggest problem will be getting on the fish because it can be quite busy. first time i went i had a cracking session banking a brace of 30's its a great water for big carp, although i'm not a big fan of the new scheme they are running Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
