liam_mcaulay Posted August 3, 2005 Report Share Posted August 3, 2005 i have just baught some tfg 25lb well ard fluorocarbon to use as a hooklink material. its ok but im a bit worried about the quality of the loops i have tied bacause as the line is so thick the knot does not seem to tighten as well. has anyone got any suggestions or ideas. beanz Posted August 3, 2005 Report Share Posted August 3, 2005 steam is better than spit with fluorocarbon but i still find the knots to sit slack...just leave a longer tag and then melt it with a lighter...it will never come undone,just tighten while playing a fish.
