Gooutdoors Westlake bivvys

Hi guys,

Has anyone had any experience with these bivvys?

I currently have an old trakker brolly system which is ok, but I want something a bit bigger with more hearoom.

Unfortunately I don't have any experience with it but at the price and going of the reviews on the site it seems a good price. If you look on eBay, shpock and Gumtree you can find some bargains too. I guess if you want brand new on a budget it seems great.

Not sure which bivvy you are looking at , the Blackout bivvy @£229 seems their most expensive but doesnt come with a second skin , but it is supposed to be 20,000 HH which is very good

One of the 2 reviews is very bad the other is good. make of that what you will.

Although out of stock at the moment and I believe 5000 HH, I have seen on the bank and it looks fine , the guy who owned it was pleased with it.

I bought a westlake bivvy from Go outdoors back in january, It was the particle ventilator 2 man for £120. 

Personally i quite like it, does the job and loads of room.

I'm told these do an exact copy of the Rod Hutchinson cooking shelter at much lower cost.  Good for the long session anglers.
