Ginger9991
Hi guys, Looking to get a 9ft set up so i can get it in the car on holidays with the wife and baby......So im going for the wychwood Extrictors as a rod but im i need a spod rod that will fit in the same bag......thinking taking a 12ft spod rod would kind of defeat the object. Can anyone recommend one?
cyborx
thats gonna be a trick to find init the only one i know of is the Nash dwarf spod rod at 9ft, i think its a 4lb Tc and damn expensive for a small rod.
bluelabel
I paid £50 for my 9' dwarf spod rod tis a nice little rod... oh and it's a 4.5lb rod, it hurls fully loaded large size Spombs very accurately and without fuss... I have a pair of Dwarf 9' 2.75lb and the Spod rod.... it all fits in the boot with the scope ops brolly, chair, tackle bag and bait bucket.... sorted... That's what I'm looking for something that can fit in the boot so I don't have a massive rod bag next to my head or near my little one! Pete F 1978
Can’t go wrong with Nash Scope. I’ve got 3 x 10ft 3.25lb scope rods and a 10ft Scope Spod rod and I cannot fault them at all. Another good compact budget rod is the prologic C1 3 section range
elmoputney
I do like my 10ft sonik vaders, they are nice but maybe too long as a 2 piece 5ft broken down, tbh though your baby stuff will fill up the car on a holiday you need a telescopic you can fit under your seat, the amount of stinky winky they come with is unbelievable 😂 I still have a 12ft spod though and it does make the quiver look untidy 😬
