Stimmy
Can anyone say anything positive about a dwarf mk2 9ft 2.25tc rods? Taking into account I fish small commercials and don't intend using massive leads or feeders. I do need a rod to steer fish away from snags and have ruled out a feeder rod or an Avon as too long ? ahuckstep

I don't own the Dwarfs, but recently purchased three of these as "back ups" to my Chub Outkasts.. https://www.tackleuk.co.uk/Shop/RodsCarpRods/Korum-Carp-Rod-250lb-10ft.htm I have owned Korum rods in the past, and enjoyed using them. When I saw these fairly new models introduced, personally preferring a shorter rod, I was drawn to them. They are great value for money, and are well put together. Also, at 2.5lb they have a little more "backbone" than my usual rods.
spr1985
I know it's not the same but I have the dwarf 6ft in 2lb and had my first fish on it the other day, it's couple with a Nash bp4 baby big pit reel......cast really well and played the fish lovely. I could feel every lunge and turn so I'm happy with it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Stimmy
Thanks for your comments guys. The korum at 2.5lb certainly is something else to consider

Had a 33lb out in France in July on one. No problems at all.
salokcinnodrog
Have you looked at the Rod Hutchinson range of short rods? Dream makers or The Ones in 10ft, or The One in a hybrid 8 and 10ft. Hutchy pulled back to Italy last year, but is now being sold in the UK again, may be worth a look.
