cyborx
this man is a wizard when it comes to reimagining old methods, for years i have placed my bread flake on the hook in the conventional way and then used a little pva tape to hold it for a long cast, novel i thought, innovative if you will. enter Kevin and the BREAD BOMB!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awecQhjBxoI#action=share a little thought and this could have been me, just like the Gardener suspender float, i had been making those for 20+ years before they came on the market. i bet the patents on those two alone would have made up my pension have any of you ever been in this position where you have seen a new bit of kit come on the market that was a slight adaption or tweak on something that you developed specifically yourself? Gazlaaar
I've had ideas and then sometime later I've seen it somewhere. Bluetooth Alarms Nets the fold up and are also a weigh sling, just bits and pieces like that. I do remember having to make stuff to suit from various bits and pieces and wished they were available to buy. Isotopes on bivvy zips was one I did that cost a small fortune lol

TOPMASTER
I am sure Kevin Nash would be the first to acknowledge it is a team effort ...
pooter
Bait screws, basically picture framers screw eyes, I wrote about it on Cemtex forum to use on D rigs etc. Lo and behold Rigmarole brought out their carpy version. I'm not sure I was the first to think of it but they were the first to market it. Dang.
TOPMASTER
If you have an idea ... keep it to yourself ... research if anyone else has had the same of similar idea ... and only talk to the distributors etc under a NON DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT. if the basic idea is accepted ... talk face to face ... to cement the deal. ianain
There was also the idea of cutting the bend off of an eyed hook and using that several years ago. It's always difficult to find the origin of any idea since most are just a slight alteration.
