newmarket Posted November 4, 2014 Report Posted November 4, 2014 Never heard of it i'm afraid. Please enlighten us? Mmm Karl its new to me too . You are big on wild animals today matey Quote
Karl Banks Posted November 4, 2014 Author Report Posted November 4, 2014 Ha ha you remove the lead core and splice a pole elastic through so its a bunge. So the carp can move off and shake its head with out moving the lead. Ie the bunge works the hook and they cant eject it. Quote
chillfactor Posted November 4, 2014 Report Posted November 4, 2014 (edited) Let me get this straight does the pole elastic run through the entire length of the leader? Edited November 4, 2014 by chillfactor Quote
Karl Banks Posted November 4, 2014 Author Report Posted November 4, 2014 The strength is in the outer case not the lead core. Not a whole meter just approx 6 inches or so thats all. Worth a look Quote
chillfactor Posted November 4, 2014 Report Posted November 4, 2014 Just had a look mate .... not sure looks like another case of inventing a rig for the sake of inventing rig . Quote

Gazlaaar Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 The Boa Rig, isn't one of those rigs that you want to use as a starting point. Its better utilised once you know how the fish are reacting to your rigs. Its loosely based around the Hermit and Silicone rig. If you are going to try it, use the weakest elastic possible. Quote
