jay_winter
I was looking at booking up a week at Dreamlakes this September. I have a choice of Dreamlake 1 or 2 I was wondering whether anyone has fished this venue before and their opinion on it Also which lake would you recommend? Any help would be greatly appreciated as this will be my first trip abroad and I want to have the best possible time
bobt
Hi, I have fished Dreamlakes 2 four times, it is brilliant, fish 2 rods close together, distance is governed by how far you can cast , mark up your distance on the bank, this will be for the nights. Third rod can be cast around your swim at showing fish, I tend to bait a third swim to my right or left at about forty fifty yards, this I will fish at night. Use your marker to find gravel patches, just pull into the silt, mark up then fish on the edge of the gravel and silt. My son and myself use about 20kg of Cell, he is a Tester for Mainline gets it cheaper. I use a 3 Boilies pva stringer, bait topped with a Enterprise pink or red fake corn, the one in the little bottle. Soak your spare made up hook lengths in some flavours. Spod before breakfast and tea time. Cheers Bob

bobt
Hi, I have been a member on this forum for a while, bit of a lurker. What is in the Cell I am not to sure, but it smells of coconut. It is quite a new bait compared to other Mainline baits etc Activate,Fusion, it's been out about 4 years. Have you not heard of it before. Mainline have a another fairly new one called Opal, my son used it at Dreamlakes last year. A good bait that is doing the rounds is a company called Carp Bait Solutions, they have a web site.

If it's a fishing trip then there are bettter and far cheaper places to go. If its an all in holiday, breakfast, dinner etc with a bit of fishing (stuck on the complex) then it maybe OK for you?
