Hi All, off to Linear this weekend for the first time in ages.

 

Just wondering if anyone knows hows its fishing at the moment? especially with all the rain lately lol Much the same i guess?

Brobably better off with a dinghy. There is some serious wet stuff on the way.

Its literally not stopped up here all day- heavy too. I've watched the Trent rise by 18 inches since this morning. I reckon it'll burst its banks by tea time.

he will tell you its 110c hot sun, no rain till monday theres no1 fishing at all so you have the lakes all to your self.

i would ring first if your traveling far,i can see the banks bursting on the stream behind manor and hunts corner,don't forget they are gravel pits with very hard ground so the water won't drain very fast if it does flood,it might be ok when you get there but could easily flood in the middle of the night and could catch you out.
