carefulcarping Posted August 17, 2012 Report Posted August 17, 2012 Check out their Facebook. Talk to the owner, very helpful bloke, pretty sure his name is Paul, but don't hold me to that. Pretty sure the sturgeon have being moved because the EA told him they where no longer aloud to be kept in his specimen lake Ross. Quote
willow83 Posted August 17, 2012 Report Posted August 17, 2012 Yeah I have spoke to Paul the owner. I just wanted a fishermans point of view on the place the owner seems like a sound chap and Helpfull just wanted a outsiders view. Quote

Which I'm guessing today, he recently stocked an upper 30, so very possible. I fished it once, blanked, but will be going back, lovely place, well run, a little difficult thiugh Quote
willow83 Posted August 17, 2012 Report Posted August 17, 2012 Yeah I heard the rumour of the 40+ coming out this morning just waiting for pics to confirm. From what I have heard it sounds like a good lake and well run with quite a few big un's to go at Happy days. Quote
roosterbooster Posted August 27, 2012 Report Posted August 27, 2012 is that a 40lb carp or sturg that came out? Quote
carefulcarping Posted August 27, 2012 Report Posted August 27, 2012 is that a 40lb carp or sturg that came out? Carp mate, he stocked a new carp into there a month or 2 back around the 36-37lb mark. I don't think the sturgeon are in that lake anymore neither, the EA told him he had to move them because it was on a flood plain or something. Ross. Quote
roosterbooster Posted September 22, 2012 Report Posted September 22, 2012 sounds good, i might have to get down there and dip a rod need a new venue, Quote
