  1. Hi give lemington lakes westminster lake a try - stunning fish and really well run.
  2. Yes good stuff m8 - I've always used the fox run rings and where possible snags weed the atomic drop off run rings - well recommended.
  3. Anyone noticed you get real screamers when fishing running leads ? Or just me? Ta
  4. Why are bw allowed to run this place so disgracefully - I emailed the fisheries manager recently and putt questions to him like why does the bailiff do such a poor job you don't need a proper landing net, he doesn't care if your using a death rig - no need for an unhooking mat even though the fish average about 14lb - no rubbish cleared - he said he would speak to the bailiff and they were considering unhooking mats but had a limited budget to which I putt ? A couple of printed from pc laminated signs and the bailiff to tell people, how cheap is that? - no reply to that one ! And now they have drained it to a virtual puddle where for about 40ft its too shallow to bank a fish without waders - have they closed it? Enforced waders ? Nah just drag them in along the mud
  5. A video view of Cuttle Mill
  6. Hi im interested in any recent information on how the mere is fishing - ive also heard it may be made day ticket at some point ? thanks for your help
  7. Hmmm while we are on the subject - Lemmington lakes has their own darling lady owner (saying no more lol)
  8. Also the water is usually upto the near top of the platforms in the pictures which makes it alto of the time 4-5ft deep under those overhanging tree's ect some great margin spots!!!!
  9. Otherside of the lake mate two large gravel humps with a silt gully in the middle (still damp even after having had no water on it for ages) also by the small concrete bridge by the inlet to the stream its about 9ft deep 9ft out in a big inlet channel/hole. Also on the dam wall about 5ft out is a completly smooth manmade path about 6ft wide going from one side of the lake to the other - all these areas are usually well covered in water and great features (not to mention the ones by the water inlet from terry's pool
  10. Meant to be doing it in the next couple of weeks - no good to me - they arn't going to say either so you could be booked on for 36hrs the day after very wrong
  11. Oh dear this place needs netting badly went today between us had 9 1lb carp and 1 13lb
  12. Im paranoid about pop ups coming off and have found salvation in the rig marole bore ring - like the post above a ring with a screw on the end - screw it into your pop up and it makes a tight seal - I then tie it on with bait floss aswell lol (also much easier to tie on this way)
  13. A video view of Lemington Lakes (Westminster Lake)
  14. Good to hear you've seen some decent fish - haven't heard that for a good while - dont give up if you've seen them - its a totally unpressured lake try pre-baiting a spot for a week before hand and give it another go you might dig up a real treasure!
