Drennan have bought out the Lo-Pro, but Chub Oval is around £90, TFG Oval is around £80, and both have over wraps that can be bought for them.
Other brands ovals may be a fair bit more expensive

David_Ridgers reacted to spr1985 in Reel seat problem...... Help!!
My next move would be, take all three rods to the shop, explain the situation on the one rod, if/when they say it's discontinued and cannot replace it you simply say "well I bought them as a set of three and as you cannot replace it they all need refunding/replacing for the equivalent/ comparative model. If they decide to make things awkward I normally say "not a problem, thank you for your time . My next port of call is trading standards and social media" it's surprising how quickly some companies change their tune at that point

Little bit of consumer knowledge for ya mate, you bought them as a set and therefore send them back as a set and get a refund on all three of them......or as they are discontinued they should replace with the equivalent/newer model.

No need to travel that far unless you really want to, there are some big barbel rivers much closer to Brighton.

I imagine you can use it like a little dingy, stealth, paddle out to bait up then it doubles as a mat...... Cant see the built in throwing stick though.....

Was looking at that Nige but want one with sides. Considering the Trakker ones. Like the look of the Nash ones but very pricey and have found other Nash products to be poor quality.

I'm 5' 6" and use 13' 3.5tc rods. Height means almost nothing if you have a good technique.

David_Ridgers reacted to phildalton1982 in MAINLINE what is everyone using?
And this is my point, if they were cruising about top layers you wouldnt be getting liners and if your line was pinned down it stands to reason the only way to get a liner was if as you say were bumping into line as it enters the water. So i would put a bait under the rod tips on which ever rod you had liners
