Thanks for flagging, for now we only available in the U.K. due to bots slowing the site down from China and US, we were planning to activate France next, the only issue I’m working out is the cost of delivery to europe. Hooks I can get to you for around £2, everything else eg boilies would cost about £15. If you saw delivery costs like this would it put you off ordering? Thanks

Yes mate even barbless are great hook hold, I had a 32lb common out on my first session using them which is my U.K. PB, couldn’t believe it! They’ve had big cats out too in testing which I was buzzing to hear about. I use them myself now on all venues & recommend them to everyone

Good shout, thats what I'm trying to do with my bait to start with, making it a bit cheaper than you can get elsewhere, especially as bait is an essential! Then you're right I need another one or two things that are cheap and drive traffic to the website. Definitely, its the same with everything really, petrol for example, if the station across the road undercuts their competitors, they then have to match that drop and so on and they both lose out in the end I don't have the storage capacity yet for things like rods/bivvys etc but that's certinately a future plan.

Hey Framey, Thanks for your advice pal. I'm really pleased that I can tick those boxes haha I wont be playing any drum and bass music that's for sure! I will probably make some videos after selling the first few batches of stock, it will be good to get out on the bank and really test the range. It's been quite some time since I've posted on here, I first came to carp.com when I was really new in to carp fishing, asked about 1000 questions and everyone on here was really helpful. Over the last 3 years I've been desperate to do more with my life and have finally decided to start my own online fishing retail company! So once again I come to you guys for your tips and advice but in a different nature this time. Here's where I've got to so far: Company started Sourced a manufacturer for my own branded hooks range! Got a trade deal for bait Linked in a clothing company to my website Created and grown social media accounts with groups that people are getting involved in Now i'm just waiting for the right time to place that first big order of bait so I can launch the business and start trading. I'm so excited about whats to come but I'm looking for someone to help with tips on how to make the launch as successful as possible, and hope that when I do I can rely on all the guys at carp.com to give me some feedback on how the site looks and what they want to see on there :) Stay safe everyone and tight lines! Hey everyone, long time no post! I’m going to France in September to fish a lake called Val D’or. I’ve heard it’s clay with patches of silt and gravel but also that there’s weedy areas so a bit of a mixed bag. For the last few years I’ve had quite a lot of success using inline leads catching me my PB 34lb in a gravel pit. Ive recently started experimenting with new setups using helicopter rigs and have had a bit of success. Fishing a new water I’m looking for some advise on your experiences using helicopter rigs, I was conisderIng Korda Kable chod leader with heli set up, tied boom section and a stiff hinged rig with a bottom bait/pop up snowman set up. Are there any situations where this wouldn’t work or have you got any other suggestions? Thanks Jason

Hey guys, Me and my mates are looking to go to France next year, it’s our 4th annual trip and we’ve always gone to the same lake but we want to try somewhere new this year. I’m looking for suggestions based on - Friendly staff - Potential for large carp and maybe sturgeon/cats - Don’t want a really hard water though where we’re going to blank or catch 1-2 fish in a week Any help would be really appreciated Thanks Jason

Hey, So I'm off to France again in September - lucky me!! I've not fished this lake before but I know it has a sand bottom, I currently use gardener gt80 but it's time to replace it anyway, as it's green it may not be the best colour anyway, I've been recommended Korda subline - I'm not a massive Korda fan to be honest, but that's a story for a different day! What do you guys think about it? has anyone used it? Also is it on par with the GT80? Also one more question, am I ok to take of half my line and tie on the new line so I fill all 3 reels with just buying 2? does it affect the fishing in any way? Thanks Jason

Thanks mate makes sense maybe I did get quite a lot of bites then and ignored it because the rods didn't scream off, I did hit it a couple of times with no luck though, will keep an eye on the rod tip next time

So I tried zigs last session with no luck but I'm going to stick with it! I found its hard to know exactly how far it is under the surface without a marker rod or a zig float, I chose not to use the float from this thread as the water is only about 4 ft deep (not sure exactly), one thing I found is because the line is so tight through the water the alarm even on low sensitivity bleeps a lot, not sure if it's liners or finicky takes, with zigs will you guys only hit it when it screams off?

Guys quick question I have a zig out now what's your take on using a backlead for zigs?

Thanks for your advise guys so I'll going to give it a go Next weekend, ill show you some pics of the rigs and fish caught fingers crossed! It's so hard to not want to out atleast one rod on bottom bait, especially when it's a 2 rod lake lol. So the best conditions for zigs at night are full moon (as it is for most fishing) this weekend coming probably won't be a full moon so would you say not to put zigs out over night?

Haha dathegooner I used to use goo all the time have to get some more, it stains everything though that's the only issue with it Good shout I'll use the darker one-off it's a sunny day, I'm in the process of building up my collection of foam/zig bugs soon I'll have a box full of them from my experience I catch a lot more on the bottom at night I feel like the fish are the bottom more often than not at night, also my lake seems to go dead in the day and go crazy at night so it's just what I'm used to
