I don't believe there illegal but a lot have lakes have banned them I always use a barbless hook less damage to the fish and if they break off at least the hook will leave eventually and not have to rust away I went to my local day ticket yesterday banned barbed my first fish a small 5 lb ghost lo and behold had a huge size 4 long shank barbed hook in its gob

I usually have a bucket of water next to my spod nix as I load my spod wash my hand in the bucket of water and splash the reel at same time never cracked off

No worries mate yeah Lentons one gets mullared especially at weekends you fish anywhere else around Huntingdon I'm dying to try new lakes

Me and a friend have been trying to found out about these lakes apparently only 20 quid a year night fishing also but can't get any info on fish stocks etc can anyone help??

Try manor farm in biggleswade mate I knoe its not in area requested but looks a good lake is day ticket and can also purchase night tickets I'm off there next week for a 48 hour session

cheers buddy im thinking of using one rob on the gravel with a snowman set up and spodded on then one in the weed with a chod rig and pva mesh bait wise using spicy boilies and fluro pop ups

cheerws buddy iv now booked on manor farm fisheries on tere carp lakes just popped up there looks nice not many features but hoping the lake floor unlocks some treasures

hi guys having just starting again im looking for some good carp fishing waters in the cambridgeshire area not looking to join for a whole year as im in process of joining the army so time is limited im looking for a decent carp water to fish for 48hrs thats not too expensive the lake i wanted to fish is booked up for most of the year willows fenland fisheries please help
