  1. Fox amour points without a doubt
  2. pretty much what i thought when i had the RX's, then i went and bought some TXI's. and even if they are on a level par in terms of sensativity the delks still look better and sound better. you cant beat a delkim wobble different strokes and all that though !!
  3. yup il second that i have Fox Rx Digital and TXI the delks are superior without a doubt although the RX's are still a damn good alarm !!
  4. they are a great read mate and il second your 10/10 I fished in Holland last year we treid absinth for the mind meld moment it doesn't work, but does give you a nasty headache in the morning certinaly not recomend as drink by the lake either the forgoton chapters by Gaz Fareham is pretty good read as well, bit chunky to take fishing but its lots of short stories from differant anglers some well known some not as well known and there conquest for certain fish. that way you can read a couple of chapters then get some kip cos the following chapter is a whole new story some stunning pictures in there as well
  5. Leadcore at the mo
  6. you could use the rig marole free fall tubing and there freefall tubing micro beads to create a chod without leadcore. the tubing is a plastic coated stainless steel continious coil that sinks pretty well.
  7. Zammo, have you tried cutting the tag end at an angle so you get a very small point tohelp push it back through ??
  8. what a load of old tosh, when did that rig in the pictures suddenly become named as a litter rig lol, also i wouldn't see this as a particularly effictive rig fished over debris as stated a nice supple hooklink would be a much better option !! right time to get the rig wallet out and start re naming all those rigs in their, might throw a few into the patent office for good measure
  9. Thanks for the reply, very good website btw. I have caught bigger than the fish in the pic, the biggest was over 20lb but without scales I dont know for sure. The best spot I have right now is a dam on the river at Algodones that holds some big carp, could be a 30lb fish there for sure. I am just getting going again I fished carp in the UK before I moved here but I am starting from scratch right now. I hope to have better tackle by next year and will be trying some other waters come the spring. I have been fishing sweetcorn mainly but end up catching a lot of cats and suckers besides the carp I want. I think next season boilies may be the way to go a larger more carp specific bait will hopefully get better results and aviod other fish. Good to know there are some serious carp fishers in NM, where abouts are you maybe we can meet up next season. all the best Terence i think next season one of these could be the way to go for you fella http://shop.carp.com/fox-elite-unhooking-mat
  10. To ensure that the presentation is at its best, you must use it in conjunction with a slow-sinking hook bait. This can either be a purpose-made, neutrally-balanced hook bait or a pop-up anchored by placing a split shot on the hair. you could use a bottom bait but you would be best to try and critically balance it with some cork or zig foam ! 11. yes you can tie you safe zone leader to your mainline in the same way as you would a leadcore leader, although capable of doing the same job a safezone leader will not take up the contours of the lake bed like leadcore does.
  12. Classic !!!
  13. or as above minus the float if you know what depth you want to be fishing! i have a selection made up in verious sizes ready to go but the above method is good for quick changes if you are unsure !
  14. it sais video removed by user
