Well i was going to plan a trip here with a friend but ill rather spend my money elsewhere now i am yet to hear good review regarding this place

i fished parkers about 3 weeks ago it was dead i even change to see if i could get some silvers but i could not get a bite , i was fishing the rugby side at the withy plenty of carp jumping by on of the fallen trees on the side of the lake i got both rods their but nothing at all , went to bayliss for the first time yesterday aswell that seem dead too had plenty of fun stalking in margins tho nothing too big but i had some fun

Just came back from a day session at withy , shamefully a big blank ! however plenty of fish moving and jumping just could not get a bite my friend who was after the silver's caught many !!! and few big bream too. bailiff said a 25lb came out last Tuesday and it was supposedly stocked with over 600 carp ranging from 2lb to 20lb s

Haha birds !!! been many times where they have really got on my tits but yes apart of the fun ! i have actually never fished the blue pool due to the fact i dont fancy leaving my car ...

I going to buy a season ticket for this venue and concentrate alot of my fishing this year on this venue it has nice stock of decent size carp but i was wondering has any body fished their in the past and what baits and rigs to use/avoid. Any help or advice would be appreciated thanks.

i know their been couple threads on this pool, but not much information. i was thinking about concentrating on this pool this year to see if theirs any hidden gems in their which from other threads seems like there may be. However since i aint fished it before i was jsut looking for some advice from some people who have, baits that you have been using etc etc. has anybody had any problems fishing the pool aswell? Thanks

Probably a complete newbie question !!! so i have warned you !, i know you need to sink the float to the right depth so its under the surface but would you do this by plummeting your depth like you do when your course fishing , but when stalking oviously you walk about so every baited area might be different depth, or have i completly got confused on this set up some help would be greatly appreciated ...

Weekend Just gone i decided to try venue which i know nothing at all about or what in their just for bit of fun, i was speaking to few regulars on their and they was showing me some of catches they have had and their some good carp in their and supposingly one koi carp round the 25lb mark , So i was just wondering does any one else know about this pool any decent baits location to fish etc etc . I have been their for walk around few times and spoke to few people, some people have said its hard other said you get your location right and your bang them out .... sooo i think it depends on effort you put into it ! -

I notice alot of anglers are saying they catch more at night well for me i have never caught at night i would say my best time first sunlight i seem to catch more ? and steadily through out the day but at night not a nibble ?

yeah i spent a day their very quite had one run all day 11lb common my first carp out of their ! ... i spoke to a block who actually night fished it the night before who was still their with his bivvy n what not he said he had 3 out at night but saw no proof so ill let you decide if true or not

Like i said iv heard nothing but bad reviews about people here however i have not heard a comment as extreme as that yet !!
