Ive not used green lipped mussel as bait but i have used swan mussels (out of the shell)as bait in France and had my PB on it being 47LB 3oz common

all i know is there is a new one opend in nottingham

does any one know any thing about a new syndicate in nottingham

does any one fish or has fished mesters syndicate in lincs and how did you find the place ie fish ,frendly carpers or not, the lake , aany info would help

don't follow the crowd with just pellets and boiles try particles, bread, maggots, and such like , you can use solid bags in winter but get the right bags ( esp work well), and leadcore or tubing well i don't use any so i can't comment on that .

there is clear patches to find , i would not class it as a bizzy water as there is always swims to fish pluss the swims are very well spaced apart, you can only fish two side of the res the wood bank or the field bank as its a damd vallly so one end is the dam wall and the other is the nature res.

its a cracking water , some cracking carp in there but god is it weedy , dam wall goes down to 20ft + deep , if you wanting a runs water dont go to moorgreen as at times it can be a right head banger of a water . most swims are wood barked and have pontons to fish from . car park is locked and your car is safe as safe as can be there is toilets and a shower to use . if you need any more info please ask i try to help best as i can .

all im saying is if you took the time out and learned how carp feed instead of jumping on the GOING RIG ( chod rig) to name one you will get more out of your fishing , how many carp anglers actually know how a rig works and were to use it properly . look at this way every one seems to use the chod rig chuck it out and it catches how many know how and why it works i bet not many do. so all im saying is instead of jumping on the band wagon and useing the going rig peaple need to learn about rig machanics and how carp feed then decide wich rig to use . in all the years of carp fishing 20 years i have not once jumped on the new rig published in mags and never will.

my self ive allways had rigs based on the origanal hair rig but with some alterations and i still catch when otheres blank . with mags showing the new BIG rig to use most peaple jump on the band wagon with out thinking and knowing how the rig works and how carp feed , if new or old carp anglers took the time to study how carp feed they will learn a lot more then jumping on the new BIG rig .

if you never fished /been to or as you say herd of these waters how the hell can you comment on them. PLEASE DONT COMMENT ON WATERS THAT YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN OR FISHED . i put from 20lb as its beter then saying from 1oz

i have not put that moorgreen dont have carp below 20lb i put moorgreen have carp from 20 lb to 40lb .every carp water has small carp in them . have you ever fished west lake at all ?

you beter eat your hat as both are true . have you ever fished any of the waters ive posted about ? or are you going by what others have fished . i have fished west lake since i were 8 years old im now 38 and i know how many fish is in there and there waights ( il put £ big money ) down to you to prove me wong. moorgreen is a tricky water to say the least but its not just one or two peg water ( ive fished at moorgreen since they stocked it ) ive had carp out on difrent pegs but it depends on the time of year and the weather and yes it has done a 40+ carp . dont coment on a water if you dont know all the facts about the sed water

a good water in nottingham is COLWICK PARK WEST LAKE 35 acers with between 200-300 carp between most are between 20lb and 30lb £7.50 for 2 rods for 24 hours or £8.50 for 3/4 rods for 24 hours or you can get a season ticket for £100 . moorgreen res 38 acres carp stocking from 1oz to 40lb most are about 20lb to 40lb more details here http://greasley-estate.com/carp.html

hi im after some carp waters to fish this year ,im looking towards youkshire,manchester,leeds,linconshire , i dont mind if its club or day ticket but it must have a good head of carp between mid 20s and mid 30s can any one help
