Theve got form in the comp I can't deny that. Too win it 3x on the bounce would be amazing but........ Utd (given our rivalry) was always going to be a hard game. Dortmund was a case of how many they was going to beat us by,and was tournament faves. Villereal are a solid 4th in La Liga and don't ship many goals so it was always going to be a hard semi.......... I think Seville will be taking all this into account,but, by no means is it going to be easy.

I always tight line to zigs even small 1ft ones,don't think it's so important to conceal line when the fish are up in the water.

Tbf Phil,only on my local of course,there's been no pattern to bite time. I've still had fish,in the middle of the night on a bit of brown foam fished in the bottom quarter of swim.... With probably little attraction on it. It's mad ain't it. Early morning are good in the spring/ summer I think due to fly hatch/insect life,but zigs in my opinion is very underused and after watching Niges masterclass I clicked on to there true potential

Reedy11 my local is similar,definitely does better of a night...... But (and I'm not trying to start an argument) but if you haven't tried zigs of a night,you may catch more if you left say 1rod on them. I see what your saying about bottom baits producing for you,and can't knock you for sticking with it. But give it a go on a few overnighters,mate. You may surprised yourself. I still fish bottom baits myself. But I've also nicked the odd fish or 2 on an overnighter when everybody else blanked on the bottom

I start with bright colours on dull days dark on bright. If you do manage to get your head round zigging you'll definitely grab bonus fish. Can I ask why you won't fish a zig at night ? It's a great tactic

It will be ok,mate. It depends what the stock size is tbf. Obviously lighter strains May knick you the odd extra bite,but I'd rather be over gunned than under.

Zig fishing is an all year round tactic,mate. Been fishing them for a couple of years now,with OK results. I think the key with zigs is stick with it. It's a confidence thing why people give in after a bit. Give it a fair chance you may surprise yourself

I hear what you say Tim,it's the norm that your going to get a few 100 turn up to away days ticketless even more for the bigger games. But for LFC to be given the leppings lane end,and it's tiny access was crazy. There will be fans who "bunked" in..... I did for years when I was a nipper watching rugby.
