  4. hi chaps my buddy and i are doing 48hrs at sandhurst sun/mon and i need some advice. (as i haven't got 20 of you there to help this time ) with the weather warming up as it has im not sure how much bait i need to be using. (i dont normally get to fish this time of year). i cant decide between my usual large spread of boilies, or to bait and fish on a baited "spot" saying that im not sure how much bait you can get away with this time of year any thoughts welcome how would you fish it ? doug

    wherever there is activity in the upper layers. if i can see them on or near the surface i will use a floating bait or a zig rig under the surface normally in the top 2 or 3 feet

  9. they have there own bait todber red! made by ccmoore. i did use it but found cell better
  10. which lake are you fishing? i did a week last month on big hayes. they are very pressured waters. i would recomend scaling down, nailing everything to the bottom, the fish move about alot and will follow the wind if its blowing hard. my best advice would be keep moving onto the fish doug

  12. im looking for somewhere nice to fish not too many idiots. bigger fish would be better, i dont mind if its a hard water we just want to have a nice week away doug
  13. hi guys my young lady and myself are going to bournemouth for a weeks holiday and i would like to get some fishing in if i can can anyone recomend some nice waters in the area thanks doug
  14. i use the rigmarole 8lb hydrolink fluro with a 10mm dumbell pop up on my zigs and it works fine. i test it overdepth to make sure it floats. ita also very easy to Straighten out not sure i would use fluro much heavier though.

  23. hi i am in eastbourne as well. i have been looking for a local club for next season. so far seaford does seem the best but i will be doing more homework and visiting some of their waters so i will let you know
  24. hi all can anyone help me? i have returned to fishing this season after a 23 year gap. i have fished all the day ticket waters i can find. i am looking for a members/syndicate lake with decent sized fish having read as much as i can on here i know they are out there but seem impossible to find any help would be gratefully recieved doug
