    After the last lot of snow it went up by 16 degrees in 2 days down my way. Been steadily warmer ever since. Just hope the rest isn't a wash out.

    It's not even June yet. Think we have been a bit spoiled so far.

    The lake I fish with my old man has been declared free from khv for 5 years now. They still have a sign on each lake above the net dips saying that it was once infected with khv.

    Does it have to be clear?. I'd imagine a carp can see quite well in murky water.

    Here's my weekly catch . 4 of us went. We all had at least one 40.

    After spending a week there in September I can confirm Richard is a great host. Fishing wasn't bad either. Wish I was going back this year.

    Me too mate. Gonna go for a few hours down my local club lake on Monday and then have a drive down to Kent on Tuesday on the hunt for some decent perch.

    Yeah but gives you time to try a few other waters and wet your appetite. To be honest I'm just looking for some nice lakes to fish. Ones where you turn up and don't find the do as you likeys moved in so you can't fish 😣

    Evening all. After reading people's stories of the wildlife they encounter a few weeks back on here I've decided to venture out of my little urban paradise next season. To be honest the closest I've got to seeing wildlife in the last couple of years is the local yobos letting their dogs try and catch the geese. So I'm just wondering if anybody has any experience of Chelmsford angling club. Cheers guys.

    Pretty much exactly the same as me. The only time I'll go down to a six is if I'm using a single piece of corn on the method.

    Off to France next week and need a new bedchair. None of the local tackle shops have the one I want . Recommendations for a comfy bed chair for a tall bloke with a bad back please.

    On the website it says a maximum of 6 anglers. To be honest a few will probably drop out anyway so will definitely consider it.
