  1. Getting the hang of it now, cutting line at the sharpest angle I can,leaving a longer tag end and it's going through no problems... Thanks to all for help...

  7. I am having prob's tying a silt/chod rig, I am using size 6 Korda chod hooks and 20lb Mouthtrap...I cannot get the tag end back through the eye,I am at me wits end... Would a whipping knot make any diffrence?
  8. Tungsten impregnated rig tube,if your whacking it out it can come out of your tail rubber DON'T GLUE IT IN get some of the new Avid tube gripper lead clips...

  12. I can se tha a lot of thouhgt has gone into what you suggested, I think my prefered corse of action would be to put the lead inside a pva bag... But I'm sure there must be other ways of doing it...
  13. Hi chaps,I will be starting to fish my new venue soon a large silty/choddy estate lake...I will be using chod and hinged stiff link rigs, is there a way I can attach a pva bag to these rigs? Thanks...
  14. In a vid i watched DF recommended that any knot using the Hybrid matierial should be steamed as it was tightened...Sounds too much of a pain if you ask me...

Didnt you say that last year Jules ...The 30lb+ Carp that came out of the Nene recently was caught on a hinged stiff rig...But I reckon providing you take into consideration the type of bottom,then any simple rig will catch..The secret to success is definitely prebaiting,you are lucky you live nearby...

    Thanks for your views Guys, they are stronger than knots...I would feel confident using them on stiff braided lines but not so sure about mono...I am going to give them a try... Whychwood also do crimps and crimpers...
