  1. I was wondering the same myself. Thanks for asking. Any news buddy?
  2. I'm still in. Lmk how we go about paying etc. Cheers! 🎣😁
  3. Sounds like a plan. Happy to do that, paying to the venue. Just two nights for me - Fri/Sat, 22nd/23rd. Cheers.
  4. So that's five.! Getting there. How do we get this booked and paid for? Can we get a deposit over to Ashmire, or do we need to pay the whole booking now?
  5. Excellent, makes four. Looking at the booking rates it's £30/night in September by swim, so £60 for 2 nights. @elmoputney did you speak with them to confirm £150/night for lake exclusive? For the extra £15 each for two nights (£75 each between 4?) seems a better idea? Works for me.
  6. So just three of us? Any more up for it?
  7. Sounds good to me as well. I could do the weekend after or before. Lmk. 🎣😁
  8. This one? https://www.ashmire.co.uk/ Works for me. Only 90 mins away! Mind you there's not been many replies lately - was it something I said? lol
  9. Sounds like a plan. There's been a complete lack or response recently. Let's hope people catch up over the weekend and it was just work in the way
  10. What about looking at a lake where you can either book exclusive or book pegs? That way people that turn up are guaranteed a fish, without having to cough up for no shows. Could always have a chat with the venue first, probably not the first time they'd have seen this scenario. On the subject of venues, Fenlands worth a look too - http://www.fenlandfisheries.com/
  11. Both of those under 90 mins from me. It's awful quiet from anyone else though!?
  12. Cheers Elmo. Didn't look at bookings and availability. TBH the others are all much of a much for me, but Merrington seems to tick a lot of boxes. Food, access and price all good. Plus house pellet at £5 a bag (2.5kg) = winner!
  13. For me the obvious choice is North Bank, since Peterborough is only 90 mins away, the others all 3 hours plus. That said, happy to travel for a meetup and fish.
  14. OK, can't find the poll on here either, so here's the list, with postcodes and prices, based on 10 anglers, and 48 hours. |Orchid lakes website is down, and it appears for sale/shut?) Proposed dates are Friday 15th to Saturday 16th September. (or 16th to 17th?) Embryo North Bank, Peterborough, PE87YY. Exclusive 1pm Thurs - 10am Sun. £860 10 anglers = £86 each - https://www.embryoangling.org/venue/north-bank/ Merrington Hayes, Shropshire, SY43QH. Exclusive £650 for 48hrs. 10 anglers = £65 each - http://www.merringtoncarpfishery.co.uk/the-hayes-lake1 Hiorseshoe Lake, Gloustershire, GL73QQ. Day ticket. £25 joining fee + £30/24hr, so 48hr is £85 - https://www.thecarpsociety.com/fisheries/horseshoe-lake--1/ Linear, Oxfordshire, OX297QF. Day ticket £40/24hrs, so 48hr is £80 - https://www.linear-fisheries.co.uk/ If there's any I've missed do comment. Hope this is OK, @commonly
  15. Did you post a poll yet? Always seems to get people clicking? But you know what, if push comes to shove I'll come and do a 48 with ya anyway! 🎣😉
  16. Happy to do 15th, 16th (and 17th?). £25 to join for the year and £30 a day (24 hrs at £1.25/hr) I make it. Up for that. Bait, wait, bosh, get in! lol. LMK if/when confirmed so I can book leave guys. Cheers.
  17. Are you guys all over in the West of the country? Just curious as I'll be travelling from about as far east as you can get. No worries whatever, be good to fish a venue so far from home wherever it is.
  18. It's always tricky trying to please lots of people. Best bet is make a decision that suits the majority and see how it pans out. You'll never please everyone. Maybe post a poll on dates and venue? Most votes after a certain time wins. Seems like that would make it fair? Anyway, thanks for organising, and getting the ball rolling.
  19. Have dates or venue been confirmed yet guys? Happy to travel to meet up 🎣😁
  20. Possibly interested depending on when & where. Sorry I'm late to the party!
  21. I found the sizes quite generous. Here's a link: https://help.snugpak.com/index.php/knowledge-base/where-can-i-find-a-clothing-size-chart/
  22. I've heard that too. I'll be getting a bottle for the vanilla nut boilies. At a tenner a bottle it's still much cheaper than most glugs and goos! Blooming carp tax! 🤣
