nope it was me who read it wrong i need to go to spec savers I think -
there was a shop in the northwest that angling direct bought out I was talking to one of the staff there asked why they sold up as it was a popular shop his reply was that they were told be ad that if they did not sell they would buy premises close by and put them out of business if the guy was telling the truth that is just wrong I know its business but for someone to build a successful business then be forced out not good and as has been said once they get a big enough strong hold on the angling sales they will have the power to charge what they wish lets just hope the savings are passed onto us anglers and not there share holders

yep I learnt a costly lesson there pal

I had the same feelings about 5 years ago resulted in me selling up and it was the worst thing ive ever done about 6 months after selling alls I could think about was getting back out on the bank so I had to go out and buy all my stuff again cost me a hell of a lot more than I sold my stuff for if you have those feelings have a few months away and im sure your love of fishing will return
-
yes I agree with that but you need a certain degree of luck as well all the hard work and desire in the world sometimes is just not enough sometimes you just a bit of luck getting that door opened for you to succeed
-
I agree with whats being said but the pay structure is not just in football its straight across the board for the lucky few that's just the way its is I don't like it when there people out there who do remarkable jobs for buttons and don't get the credit they truly deserve but as ive said if I would of been a good enough footballer I would not be saying no just pay me buttons id be taking it with both hands wide open like we all would look at fishing companys what they charge for tackle and yes I take into account the development of the tackle they produce and also the profit they must make but some of them the profit is huge and yet we all still pay it and again if I was in there shoes id be charging the same again as we all would
-
not the footballers fault if we were in there position we would be taking the money to for me it to expensive to go see the game now so I watch online or through sky even that is expensive the pay that they get again is stupid but good luck to them if it was me id be rubbing my hands together

ive got a carp porter fatboy good strong barrow invested in the tri wheels to and that makes it much more stable but ive learnt through trial and error its all down to how you load it
-
ive had rods off tony a few years back now build quality was great he is good at what he does but as others have said you might have to wait a month or two phone him his number is on his website but if you can wait the time he quotes in my opinion its worth waiting top quality build
