Hi all, Just a general question... Are we Happy at the moment in time with the fishng at the busiest it has ever been? Personally, I am in all aspects of life, Home, Work, Hobbys, Friends, Marriage. Fishing could be better but that's because too many people have decided to take the sport up as it was the 1st sport to be granted. What are other peoples thoughts? Come October when the cold sets in, we will see a decline in Anglers. BUT.... We have to be careful as come November whispers tell me a 2nd Wave (Virus) could be here,even until March.

Will be the 1st time ever used them, always been on lead clips. This 1 is my combi loop rig setup.

I'll be on my permit lake on Saturday morning fishing for 24 (maybe 36hr) The lake is pretty much unison all over, no weed, no rocks, its like mud/clay n silty bottom, 2 rods on running rigs, both slack lined. Left hand rod will be on a Korda boom rig with the spinner / Ronnie (about 7inch) Right hand rod will be on a Korda boom again but using a loop combi rig. Manilla Baits all the way, with PVA bags with crushed boilie n pellet to start then if any fish, I will introduce some bait.

Might invest some these too, as well as the korum kits 👍

Thanks, my water is very pressured in the day, but maximum I've seen at night is 5 fishing, be the same this weekend when I go (36hrs). Most my rigs are around 6/7 inch, may try them and tie a few up longer on the Bank?

So fish it more or less slack line, will try with tubing 1st then without next time. Will be more or less trial and error 1st time round (thinking of going Thursday) off work for 4 days from Tuesday.

What is the indication like on running rigs, I know there will be probably lots of minor Indications, do I just wait for the full on screamer 🤣 Watch from about 4.45...what an eye opener.

That not a bad idea You keep 4 rods in your rod bag...? Don't think I've ever owned 4 rods at once.

You mean off the lead, I will be doing so the silicone goes over the quick link. I will be trying with silicone tubing on 2 rods see how it goes, my 3rd is put on a Korda lead clip system.

Setting up the running rigs, need some silicone sleeves for when cut lead swivel off. Would rig tubing be OK to use with it or use naked line? Got about 3ft tubing behind it.

What range you thinking? Vader, Gravity, Insurgent, Recon, Xtractor.

This is the lake above.... Below... Orange is a hole about 5 to 6 foot... Green is around 4ft...Pink from the reeds is about 12inch to 3ft...Black line is either a foundation wall or line of snags but there is something that runs across.

It can be busy during day, but never seen more than 5 on at night... Maybe a hit n miss spot...

That was my exact thoughts 👍. The margins on 1 of the lakes drops to 5ft under tip, that were i be, not this, next weekend. Just me n the pooch this time.

I've noticed on my last few visits that the Margins on the water I fish are really being neglected, I've caught my last 2 fish from the margins. Never without 1 rod in margin.

I literally now fish either a single bait with a mesh bag size of a kiwi, or an attractive pop up. NO piling in for me either. Everywhere has been smashed with bait and literally switched off.

Bait (I think) is a personal preference, I use Sticky Manilla in all versions... Bottom Bait, Wafters, Pop Ups, Dumbells in Original Baige & White... also some Sticky Yellow Pineapple n Butryic & Pink STINKY Krill... all have matching booster sprays to add a bit of enhancement.

I keep looking/meaning to buy 1 too... Mate of mine paid 50p for 1 off car boot about 5years ago... Takes 4 of the big mahooosive batteries and still going strong... Did offer him £20 but still no.

Get 1030mtrs on spool, each spool takes 270mtrs of 0.35 line, should be OK? 🙏🙏
