I'm up, car loaded, 1st trip of the year, heard last night the lake has risen quite abit, but still fishable.

I use Mainline Milky Toffee pop ups, half in with the Korda Almond (was told by a mate about this combination) and Half in the Krill Supreme (1 Goo is more washed out than these others)

I try to match the hatch, so to speak, but keep my hookbait boosted.... White/Beige Manilla Pop up Wafters with Matching spray..clear spray Pineapple nbuytric acid... Yellow spray Pink Almond, pink Goo. Only ever use White, Pink, Yellow. But I'm thinking of trying the Manilla in the Mainline Smart Liquid (Cream)... Gives of tons of smoke/scent. Also like the look of the Korda white almond for the white Manilla... Each week I tend to do a few sprays, so hopefully by next time I'm out, they be booming. Even thinking of tryi g fake corn in white and yellow in some goos, some are now soaking in Hinders Betalin.

I've got 3 waters to go at, 1st is a small intamet water, about 1min drive., 2nd water is the open council lake (but as its free probs be rammed) about 5mins..3rd is my members water about 5 mins in opposite direction... Just got car back this morning... Looks like its been in showroom... Clean is not the word. Also built a Shire bike shed for extra storage.

Wife has a holiday booked for May in Lanzarote, no Airline is even looking past Easter I've heard, she's already had 2 canceled so far, February and April... Had a really bad start to year though.... New Year eve, a delivery wagon door opened on our car when it turned a corner, and drove off... Need new Headlight, wing, cracked driver window, and ripped off mirror... In with insurance now and police as more cars were also damaged.. Garden now turned into a drive within 4 days(myself done)... Waiting for council drop kerb. Myself n wife have both had abscess, lucky mine was caught early but she had to have a Molar tooth removed...

I can see from both sides, yes stop at moment and try to stop the virus spreading by cutting all contact. No stopping as it an outdoor activity and can easily isolate alone. But, as we've had the most cases so far in past 3 days and rising, I think it should have been done easier for longer.

WELL.... ITS FINAL.... NO FISHING

Just still as normal for me... Me working in a Food Factory, Wife working at Wigan, Wrightington and Leigh (3) Hospitals... Little going school everyday... Let's hope something good does come of this 3rd Lockdown.

Happy New Year All... Tomorrow's fishing is a no go though... Don't mind cold but this is another level... Let's see what 2021 brings us all? 🎉🎊🎣🎣

Mine, To catch a 20lb+, the resident Sturgeon in a lake I fish 30lb+,... Generally try to fish more. Some big goals there Elmo.
